Prayer Requests

Trust: They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish and Nodab. They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.  1 Chronicles 5:19-20
* Pray that the team would trust in God and that we would cry out to him during the battle. May God answer our prayers because we trust in him.


Equipped: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:10-12
* Pray that the team members would be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. That we would put on the full armor of God so we can take a stand against any of the devil's schemes. Pray that we would be reminded that our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, authorities and powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Pray that we would be fully equipped to do his work in Tanzania.

Peace:  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7
* Pray that as we make final preparations in the days remaining before our departure, that we would be filled with peace and that we would not be anxious about anything. Pray that the peace of God guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Funding: And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
* Pray that funding would continue to come in to meet the needs of the team.

Humility: Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:10
* Pray that the team members would remain humble as they prepare for their journey.

Sustenance: Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. Psalm 55:22
* Pray that as the team prepares, that we will cast our worries and fears onto the Lord and he will sustain us.

Faith: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnlestly seek him. Heb 11:6
* Pray that the faith of the team members would increase as they wait on funding to come in, as they encounter obstacles in their preparation, as doubts and fears arise.

Unity: I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11
* Pray that the team would be unified in their goals and purpose.

Sanctification and Protection:
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.John 17:15-19
* Pray for spiritual protection from the enemy. Pray that we would be filled with the Word of God and its truth.
